半实名反对德语跟英语更近”的说法，有答案提到了GRE红宝书，一大堆英语词汇词根都是法语源？我自己举个例子，下面这段话用英法德三种语言表达，并且同英语相似的德法单词划线，看看究竟哪个更像英语（ps请忽略我的语法错误），内容上是中国的小城故事，不偏颇德法任何一方文化：
德语版Bei kühlen Abend , die Kerl unseres Kindergartens auf Strohmatte liegend, sahen oft der Meteorit in den Himmel fliegen,irgendwann sogar zu explodieren zerbrochen.Doch mit der Nutzung der Klimaanlage, kommen immer weniger Menschen aus. Doch eine damalige Empfindung erinnerte mich an die in der Grundschule gelernte Geschichte von Zhangheng, der auch in seiner Kindheit von Grosser Bär begeistert, war später einen Grossen Astronom geworden. Aber wenn Sterne in unserem Horizont verschwendeten, bedeutete der Heimatstadt für uns Reisender nür eine enfernte Erinnerung und in der Zukunft zu verblassen.

La deuxième fois que je voyais un tel bel ciel, c'était 19 ans après, dans l'autoroute Belge, nous identifions la direction en faveur de la Grande ourse. Ce qui me rappelait tout d'un coup l'histoire d'astronome de Zhangheng que nous lisions à l'école, qui était devenu un grand scientifique, en s'inspirant de l'étoile du nord à son enfance. En regardant en arrière notre pays natal, s'il n'y a pas de ciel bleu dans l'horizon des enfants, leurs rêve s'obscurit probablement. S'il il n'y a plus d'étoiles éclairant la vie, pour les voyageurs dérouté, la ville natale ne lui vaut que dans le souvenir et peu en avenir.

即使有句法错误， 词汇对比没有问题，其中与英语类似的法语词汇26个，德语词汇9个，大概三比一。Conventional wisdom says that English would be more like German, because it's a Germanic language. A lot of the simple words in English like "house" are similar to their German counterparts. But I've studied a bit of German and I didn't really find it to be all that similar to English. The more complex, higher words in English tend to have latin roots. Words like competition and television clearly have Latin roots. 母语是汉语的人同时掌握英法德日四门语言，不会弄混吗？
在一定程度上，母语跟目标语言越近，越容易有口音，东北人北京人说普通话，很明显就听出不同，相反河南陕西人就不容易从其普通话中辨别哪里人。这里德国人好比河南人角色，而法国人就好比东北人。有人说那弗兰人胡建人口音太重啊，请注意我说的是一定程度上，如果母语相差太远也是不行的，好比日本人说英语口音比德法都重。至于为什么大家感觉德国人英语更好，一些明显的原因我就不重复了，说一些其余答案没有提及的。

一个答案说道：苏联倒塌的一霎那，很多法国人一边倒的转向了美国语言文化，相反在GW Bush朝代，一些法国人抵制任何美国潮流，这一重要的历史原因许多答案都没提到。很多国人都不知道这个事实，冷战期间法国不属于北约，法美关系比多数中国人想象中的差。

这个问题也说了德语跟英语根本不像，至少没有法语那么像。
2也有很多人认为，frenglish不如chinglish，这其实跟法国菜没中国菜好吃的主观判断类似，但是英国人并不认为法国人英语比中国人差。一次英语课，中国同胞presentation我全部听懂，很多法国人表示听不懂，英国老师也表示不习惯口音。即便从口音来说，英语母语者都表示法语是understandable的。因为语言的相似性，至少在用词上，法国人把握更准，尤其是复杂词汇方面，英法类似的词汇太多，对一个词，具体哪些意思，如何使用才恰当，应该使用何种语境，这种体会完全拼的就是文化感知。

所言，一方面是口音太明显。另外，跟两国教育传统有关，从精英阶层来看，法国最顶级的都是效力本土，德国最优质的都是留学英美，首先需求上就不一样。从移民角度说，法国接受的多半是前殖民地的外国人，而来德国的英美人相对较多。但是实际上，混迹海外的法国人英语并不差，比如伦敦有三十万法国人，他们的英语口音要小得多。
