慢性压力(Chronic Stress)会引起皮质醇升高,血清素下降,从而使人易怒。[1]
美国压力协会发表过一篇讲压力成瘾(Stress Addiction)的文章,提到慢性压力带来的影响,就像其它成瘾物质一样,会让人停不下来。[2] 比如总要不断地工作,处理一件有一件的事情,总觉得还有事情要做,休假也在思考工作,甚至除了睡觉以外的时间,脑子里全是工作。

慢性压力也会损伤大脑的海马体,影响记忆力和专注力。[3] 所以你可以关注一下,领导是不是总在做不太需要长时间集中注意力的事,比如发信息、开会讨论多一些,而一个人长时间的阅读、分析、设计少一些。
压力不仅仅影响心理健康,也会影响身体健康。慢性压力会引起免疫力下降[4]、血压升高[5]、血糖升高等[6],增加心血管疾病和糖尿病的风险。
所以,领导们的心理健康,也许是个很被忽视的问题。
