Dear UK employers: You can't claim diversity while rejecting international students

(The painful irony of UK job descriptions in 2025)

Just saw another job post that made me laugh:

→ First line: "Must have right to work, no sponsorship"
→ Last line: "We celebrate diversity and inclusion"

Make it make sense.

You can't claim to:
↳ "Unite diverse minds"
↳ "Value global perspectives"
↳ "Embrace inclusion"

While your first requirement eliminates:

→ International talent
→ Global experience
→ Cultural diversity
→ Different viewpoints

The irony?

These same companies will post about:

→ Diversity initiatives
→ Global mindset
→ International expansion
→ Cultural awareness

But will reject international students because they need sponsorship

Look, you either value diversity... Or you don't.

Stop using diversity as a buzzword. Start actually embracing it.
