Austria-Hungary, Yugoslavia, Nazi German occupation (was croatia annexed or was it simply occupied? does it count in that case? we'll say yes) and well Yugoslavia again and then Croatia, correct?

Thats five, so, Austria-Hungary is probably out. Kingdom of Yugoslavia, NDH, SFR Yugoslavia, Croatia.
Edit: Although, you had FPR Yugoslavia before it was renamed as SFR Yugoslavia, so, maybe no to NDH also
Edit2: to answer your question NDH was a puppet nazi state, I hope most Croats would agree, not the proudest moment in Croatian history

FPR Yugoslavia seemed too much to count.. Kingdom and Communist Yugoslavia on the other hand were proper different countries, I think we can agree to that..
edit: nice try btw..
edit2: NDH was not my country, period. Literally, we were sold to Hungary, so you can guess what I think of it..
